Tim don’t hate me, but I realize I hadn’t done a google review which feels just wrong so here we go✨Best, most consistent espresso drinks in Birmingham ✨ Punch love has a rotating selection of roasters they like to feature bringing new and fresh direction to the coffee scene in Birmingham. I absolutely love their snarky and fun seasonal menu changes and my personal favorite is the Summer ‘Televangelist’ an iced oat milk latte with date and tahini syrup and topped with a black sesame cold foam⭐️

Anywhere you can get good drip coffee and good lattes is a top tier spot for me and Punch Love fits the bill. They have a simplified menu, which means less variety but it also higher quality in all they do. I enjoy the simplicity of both the menu, and the space. The shop itself has a lot of natural light and is minimally decorated with plants. There are lots of small tables for two but is relatively little seating for any parties of 3+, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to stay.

Great drip coffee the taste is on par with slow brewing methods like chem-ex and so on. They also have really good baked goods plus they were fresh.

Amazing espresso! 100% recommend. Their frozen coffee wasn’t super tasty but I’d order it again. This is a more expensive shop but mostly worth it.

This coffee shop is great! The best parts: it’s a small owned business. Matt is on the grind doing his best to serve the best coffees. Their ingredients are way cleaner than most coffee shops. There is a cute little patio that has sunny spots as well as shady spots. The things that could use improvement: there was no wifi option available. This was due to the fact that Matt renovated the space fully 2 weeks ago… it will be up and running soon! The tables outside are hard to work on because there are gaps along the tops. It would be great to have some options with umbrella seating outside. This would allow you to be able to work on the computer outside with no glare. There are also no outlets outside. But there are some inside! Overall the coffee is the bomb, go check it out!

A pleasant and inviting local coffee shop. The pastries are always fresh, and the coffee is consistently smooth and well-balanced. It's a terrific place to spend time alone or catch up with friends because of the laid-back ambiance and friendly personnel.

Edit to add: my review is still 5 stars. This has become my 2-3x a week morning stop now. The entire staff is so kind and knowledgeable. The empanadas are phenomenal, and my favorite is now the chorizo egg and cheese(with some tapatío of course)! I really can't recommend this place enough. The atmosphere is great. I always leave with delicious coffee and delicious food! --- Previous post: I have visited this place twice now. The service is amazing! I had a vanilla and caramel latte yesterday, and vanilla and honey latte today. Both were phenomenal! I drink decaf and this is the first place I've been to in the area where the decaf doesn't taste bitter. I also tried the fig and cheese empanada, and ohhhhhhh my! Absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend Punch Love!

Dude… This is easily in the top 5 coffee shops I’ve ever visited. Tim is a barista’s barista, pleasant to talk to, knows his craft and ready to share his excitement about coffee. The espresso was delicious, smooth, fragrant, sweet, not overly acidic or bitter. The other drinks celebrate the coffee without distracting from it, something I don’t see nearly as often as I’d like. The shop itself is a welcoming space, lots of natural light, comfortable environment. Great vibe all the way around. Prices are absolutely fair considering the quality of service and product I received. I’m absolutely coming back ASAP.

Adorable coffee spot! I got the "White Chocolate Punchie" which was a frozen coffee slushie. It tasted delicious and was refreshing! Also got a bacon egg and cheese empanada which was just enough to fill me up as well as super tasty. I will definitely be back!

Punch love is a gem of a coffee shop in Avondale area! They make a proper flat white & cappuccino :). The baristas are both super knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommend any of the pastries or empanadas if you need a bite to eat. Adding this to my rotation of regular spots!!
